CENTRO DE DOCUMENTACIÓN DEL MUSEO DE LA SALLE BOGOTÁ: IDENTIDAD Y MEMORIA- PATRIMONIO BIBLIOGRÁFICO Y DOCUMENTAL

Resumen

El centro de documentación del Museo de La Salle Bogotá, tiene un gran acervo bibliográfico y documental. Esta unidad de información tiene una trascendencia histórica; es un espacio en donde se conservan variedad de soportes conformados por manuscritos, catálogos, libros, publicaciones seriadas, materiales sonoros,  fotográficos y audiovisuales, entre otros, que hacen alusión a hechos que surgieron del ámbito investigativo, educativo y divulgativo que aportaron y generaron impacto en la memoria nacional a nivel científico y cultural, entre otras temáticas más institucionales. Este patrimonio bibliográfico y documental son registros de información y conocimiento, algunas veces producida por el mismo museo y otras, adquiridas por compra, programas de donación o canje entre diferentes instituciones a nivel local, nacional e internacional. En este documento contaremos de manera general algunos aspectos de este patrimonio y de la unidad de información que lo custodia, desconocido para muchos dentro de una gran institución.

The documentation center of the Museum of La Salle Bogotá, has a great bibliographical and documentary collection. This unit of information has a historical significance; Is a space where there are preserved a variety of media made up of manuscripts, catalogs, books, serials, diplomas, sound, photographic and audiovisual material, among others, that allude to facts that arose from the research, educational and informational field. That contributed and generated impact in the national memory at the scientific and cultural level, among other more institutional topics. This library and documentary heritage are records of information and knowledge, sometimes produced by the same museum and others, acquired by purchase, donation programs or exchange between different institutions at local, national and international level. In this document we will generally tell some aspects of this heritage and the information unit that holds it, unknown to many within a large institution.
