EL DEPARTAMENTO DE DOCUMENTACIÓN DE RTVCM, RADIO TELEVISIÓN DE CASTILLA-LA MANCHA. EL TRATAMIENTO DE LA DOCUMENTACIÓN AUDIOVISUAL EN UN ENTORNO DIGITAL DE GESTIÓN DE CONTENIDOS.

Resumen

Las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación aplicadas en Televisión han cambiado el concepto, la metodología y los sistemas de trabajo de los profesionales de este medio. El desarrollo de Sistemas de Gestión Global de Contenidos ha permitido el control y distribución de mayor cantidad de archivos y de mejor calidad de los recursos audiovisuales. Se trabaja en un entorno digital donde la demanda del nuevo profesional de la Documentación Audiovisual  se ha hecho necesaria en los diferentes procesos de producción.       

 En este artículo se analizan los fondos audiovisuales y formas de trabajo del Centro de Documentación de la Radio y Televisión Autonómica de Castilla-La Mancha, RTVCM, que está diseñada tecnológicamente desde su origen para llevar a cabo una gestión integral de contenidos, con flujo de ficheros y almacenamiento digital. Se expone la importancia de los Departamentos de Documentación en contextos digitales de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información. Se pone de manifiesto el valor que aporta la Documentación en la preparación de la información en un medio de comunicación y la importancia de los contenidos como activos fundamentales para el buen funcionamiento y desarrollo de la Televisión.

 The New Information and Communication Technologies applied in Television have changed the concept, methodology and the working systems of the professionals of this area. The development of Content Management Systems has enabled the control and distribution of a higher amount of files and better quality of audiovisual resources. The work is focused in a digital environment in which the demand of the new professionals in Audiovisual Documentation has become necessary in the diverse production processes.

 In this article, we analyze audiovisual funds and working methods of the Documentation Center of Radio and Television of Castilla-La Mancha, RTVCM, which is technologically designed from its inception to create a full content management, with file flow and digital storage. It illustrates the importance of the Documentation Departments in digital contexts of the New Information Technologies. It also shows the value that Documentation brings in the preparation of the information in the media and the importance of content as essential assets for the proper functioning and development of Television.
