Greater transparency in transactions carried out through online markets: news in the Royal Decree-law 24/2021, November 2nd.

Abstract
In order to transpose into domestic law Directive (EU) 2019/2161, the Royal Decree-Law 24/2021, November 2nd, modifies part of the articles of the TRLGDCU. Notably, it is art. 82 of the Royal Decree-Law which addresses the modifications in the Consolidated Text. Among the reforms carried out (eg in sanctioning matters), the aim of this study resides in exposing those that, within the chapter dedicated to contracts concluded at a distance and outside the commercial establishment (arts. 92 to 113 TRLGDCU), are on transactions carried out through virtual platforms. In this regard, I will describe the changes related to pre-contractual information, with special emphasis on the new information obligations that fall on the " online markets providers.
