Abstract
On October 30th, 2023, Directive (EU) 2023/2225 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 18th, 2023, on credit agreements for consumers was published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJEU). Article 26 of the new Directive provides for the right of withdrawal from the credit agreement. This paper firstly presents the pre-contractual and post-contractual information that the creditor must provide to the consumer regarding the right of withdrawal. Secondly, it analyzes the regime for exercising the right of withdrawal, highlighting the new features introduced in this area.
