Although this review arrives somewhat late in relation to the date of publication, it is worth presenting the contents of this collective book at a time when the difficulties of working on musical heritage have increased considerably. Any follower of The Avengers could describe what has happened in the last year, 2020, as a "lapse", in which we have seen how much of the research activity carried out in archives has been halted, given the difficult conditions for consultation brought about by the pandemic. This has undoubtedly allowed for a more careful and calm reading of how much and how well it has been published in recent times, even though it has come to our hands somewhat aged as is the case with noble wines.
