Abstract

I present John Cage and Julio Estrada´  s some general information: about their biography, education, theoretical or philosophical influences or propositions, creations, etc., later I talk about 4 ´´  33´ ´´  (Cage, 1952), Solo for the self (Estrada, 1972a) and Imaginary (1972b). The first and second creations pay attention to listening to the environment (including our bodies), the second and third to imagination and its listening. I include comparisons, my experience with the three pieces and how I think they could be experienced collectively. Also, I talk briefly about listening, imagination, in other authors´  some pieces.
