Services in university archives, preservation and security: analysis of the situation in spanish public universities

Abstract

This paper analyzes the regulatory and legal requirements that require public universities and their respective archives to implement services available through electronic means with guarantees of security and digital preservation. From the above, the situation in Spanish public universities is analyzed from the review of their electronic websites in relation to the availability of archiving services, and security and digital preservation criteria.
