The function of assistance to municipal archives by the Archives of the Dipuación Provincial de Albacete

Abstract

This article begins with the role of technical and financial assistance to the municipalities by the provincial councils to describe the work with the municipal archives of the Archives of the Diputación Provincial de Albacete. First, we outline the process to get to know the state of these municipal archives. Next, we describe the tasks that are being carried out in three areas: regulatory, economic and technical. We also refer to the work related to current digital environments. Finally, we propose some conclusions.
