Abstract
In this article we review the actions undertaken by libraries and library institutions in Europe related to the 2030 Agenda and sustainable development. This review is based on the justification of the need for a European approach to sustainability in order to look not only at what has happened in Europe and in European libraries since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda, but also at the proposals or possible lines of action that are being undertaken, led by EBLIDA and by library professional associations in the different countries.
