Women writers, printers, former owners: enhancing gender studies at the rare book and manuscript CRAI library of the University of Barcelona

Abstract

The growing interest in gender studies in all fields has encouraged the Rare Book and Manuscript CRAI Library to review the treatment of gender from different angles. The main axes have been the following: Exhibition and Conference "El fons antic de la Universitat de Barcelona amb perspectiva de gènere"; databases of printers and former owner; list of "Dones al Fons Antic UB". This is a cross-cutting project with the aim of exploring and promoting women's collections.
