Abstract

The Americanist Library of Seville (BAS) is a research and heritage library. In 2019, The BAS drafted a quality plan titled “Preservation, conservation and digitalization of the ancient bibliographic heritage of the Americanist Library of Seville (BAS) REBIS-CSIC: QUALITY PROJECT 2019-2028” that directs its actions with respect to the heritage bibliographic fund that custody. This plan has made it possible to raise awareness, increase budget allocations, increase the number of books on which preservation and conservation measures are taken and launch different cultural extension activities, as well as detect points for improvement.
