How Elena Fortun's personal archive arrived at the Regional Library of Madrid

Abstract

The aim of this presentation is to show the path and the ups and downs that the documents comprising the Personal Archive of Elena Fortún, presently in the custody of the Regional Library of Madrid, had to go through. They were recovered thanks to the determination and tenacity of Marisol Dorao, professor at the University of Cádiz and biographer of Elena Fortún, in her quest to collect data to write about the life and work of a writer who had been lost track of, and who might otherwise have been lost.
