Abstract

The exhibition of books from heritage collections requires conditions that minimize the risks derived from their handling and display. One of the requirements is the use of cradles to accommodate the book to ensure that the structure of the bookbinding does not suffer alterations. These supports are usually made in the shape of a V, to accommodate the volumes and facilitate reading, but if other parts of the book are to be shown, the design of these supports differs considerably.
