Audiovisual Sánchez Montes Fund: 3, 2, 1 and Action

Abstract

In this work, we explain the project for the organization of the José Sánchez Montes Audiovisual Fund. José Sánchez Montes is a director, screenwriter, and producer from Granada who donated over 5,000 videocassettes in various formats to the University of Granada in April 2021. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the Faculty of Communication and Documentation at the University of Granada. After inventorying and controlling the tapes, we have entered the process of preservation and description of the video recordings. We showcase the solutions provided and the projects that have emerged from this experience for the organization and description of the University of Granada's audiovisual material.
