Abstract

The present paper describes a project being carried out in collaboration with the Department of Art History at the University of Granada. It involves organizing documentation resulting from research conducted in the department and led by Pita Andrade between 1961 and 1978, during his time at the University of Granada. The documentation consists of departmental records containing various data about monuments, as well as photographs and press clippings related to architecture and artists. This documentation was also compiled for the creation of several catalogs and classified by provinces, towns, and artists of particular relevance to Eastern Andalusia. Although this documentation does not constitute a specific collection, it is highly valuable and believed to be of interest to art researchers.
