About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Sin Objeto. Arte, investigación, políticas is a scholarly journal that brings together the artistic and research community to explore art as a space for the production of knowledge through reflection and methodological experimentation. The journal addresses situated processes that challenge conventional models of knowledge creation and circulation, as well as approaches that shift the centrality of the object toward process-based and/or relational practices. By foregrounding dematerialization, Sin Objeto provides a space to debate the ways in which artistic practices are redefined within altered contexts. The journal is open access and accepts original manuscripts in Spanish and English.
